The title of this post is infact the title of a song by Evanescence. It is one of my favourite songs.
Now i am sure you must be wondering why am i writing a post about a song. well once you listen to it, i am sure you will understand why i love the song so much. It is not so much the music, which infact is amazing, it is actually the lyrics which have captured my attention.
"I still remember the world from the eyes of a child.
Slowly those feelings were clouded by what I know now!"
Words which every one of us have atleast once in our lifetime pondered over. For when we lose those rose-tinted glasses, the world is not a merry as we thought it to be!
"Where has my heart? An uneven trade for the real world.
Oh I, I want to go back to, believing in everything and knowing nothing at all!"
Whenever we step out of our homes, or switch on the tv, all we see is how the world is flooded by darkness with evil all around. And it make you wonder whether the hell that we speak of is infact the earth itself or whether are we a part of such a dubious race, that a symbiotic life is totally not possible.. I might seem to be blabbing on something completely confusing and ambiguous.. but i am sure, deep down in our hearts, we would all like to return to the 'Field of Innocence'.
