i'm back..
from MecleodGunj..
and it was awesome!!
My department organised an "UNOFFICIAL" trip to Dharamshala and MecleodGunj this past weekend. Of course i had to go... i mean.. why wouldn't I! That place is seriously close to heaven. The valley was so amazing! The fresh air, the fallen clouds, the tall mountain peaks which seem to peck the sky; all really made the trip worthwhile. But of course, that's not all that was good. The company of good friends, and great shops and a whole lot of money was great too... :-D
We went to quite a few places; the Dalai Lama Monastery, some famous old Church, one temple and two trekking spots. The treks were simply refreshing! The first trek was not very tiring as we didn't quite go the whole way. We did however encounter quite a lot of leeches and two girls even fell victim to them. The second trek was the main one and it was extremely tiring and at times nerve wrecking but totally worth it!!!
