hola..
So my birthday was on the 8th!!... it was a fabulous day... i just couldn't stop smiling on the day.. it was PERFECT!! Whole day flowed so beautifully that i have no complains about it at all... and why would i... it was my day. ^_^
So as a family tradition, we stayed up till 12:oo midnight.. as the clock struck 12... my parents wished my happy birthday.. and then the parade of rings began. First to call was a hosteller friend of mine, Saptaparni. I answered the phone and she started to sing ~Happy Birthday~, <The smile grew wider>
Then next in line, literally *second call* was Shilpi. Then came Charu and Udita and Prachi's call... Sheena messaged.. and Dhruv messaged (at 1.. late latif). I barely controlled my excitement and tried to go to sleep as my mom went to chk whether the cake i made was baked... yes i baked one at 11:oo in the night. It was done.. and it tasted heavenly.. as usual *_*
In the morning i went to college... my friends shouted out in a chorus "Happy Birthday" and welcomed me into class following which was a series of individual wishes and hugs. Then after 5 continuous lecturers.. me and 12 of my friends proceeded on to my house for lunch. My mom served potato smileys and Seekh kebabs as starters and then every one jumped onto the main course which was "Chhole Kulche". Then my mom brought out 2 cakes: one 1kg Chocolate cake and one 1/2kg Pineapple cake... My friends were kind enough not to waste the chocolate cake.. rather they happily smashed 1/2 of the Pineapple cake on my face!! We had a blast then on.. we talked about Satyogi (one my lecturers who looks like a buffalo).. she seems as the hot topic of our class somehow... anyways... it was fun... So my friends left by 4:30.. after which i helped my mom clean up and then spoke to my brother (cudnt spk to him in the night cuz he was busy at Rie Fu's live).
Then in the evening... i got ready for another get together with friends... This time it was 5 of my school friends; Pritha, Sheena, Shilpi, Aseem and Dhruv. I asked everyone out for dinner at the Grand Hotel. The hotel has a Japanese restaraunt called Enoki. Dhruv, unfortunately cudnt make it.. but the rest 4 did. So me, my folks and 4 of my close frnds enjoyed a lovely dinner together. It was... perfect!
I came back home by 23:47... sadly counted the remaining minutes of my birthday... and then.. peacefully went off to sleep.
Now heres an account of what i got:

Udita: a stoll and a photo album
Saptaparni and Pratiti: A cool T-Shirt which says: ME Me.. Scientific research has provent that the world does revolve around me! i love it
Shreya and Annie: a big box of chocolate and a cute charm
Shilpi and Aseem: A plush teddy bear and a scented candle(very niice)

In other stuff... i just downloaded the pv to Blood+ the anime's opening.. its just awesome... it is up on the radio... hear it now... its called.. Takahashi Hitomi - Aozora no Namida (Tears of the blue sky)... its awesome.. must hear.. really. You see.. the Blade trilogy was based on the blood manga where the immortal teenage girl became an immortal half vampire wesley snipes. Blood+ is the same story as blood. The name of the original manga is Blood. The tv series in the 90s was called Bood TV. The movie was called: Blood: The Last Vampire. The new series is called: Blood+. Its a cool series.. im currently up to epsd 7... gotta d/l more!!
