Prolonged slumber

It seems like a whole lifetime ago, when I used to post rather regularly on this blog. And since my last post on 9th June, 2007, a lot has changed. More importantly, I have changed. It is 6 years hence, and I am no longer that starry eyed girl from College, whose every step unfolded into a plethora of ideas. The dynamism of the times were such.

Not to say that I lead a less exciting life now. Like I said, a lot has changed. Can't quite say whether it is for the better or for the worse. But different it is for sure.

One thing however, which has stood the test of time (albeit just a 6 year long test) is my love for writing. I have always felt that words have a way about them. Their ostensibly plain attire can fool the unimaginative, while at the same time transport the giddy avid readers into a reality which is surely not their own, but assures them that they are walking in the shoes of the protagonist.

Words... they do have a way about them.

Now, coming to the reason for my sudden and unannounced return to this medium. It is all thanks to a dear friend of mine, who is a vivacious writer herself and incidentally still an active blogger. On her insistence, I finally began a search for my blog this morning. And a, not so long search, later, here I am, updating ichigo, while constantly promising myself to becoming an active writer once again.  

Of course, in time we shall see, how far that promise goes.

For now, I am glad to be back.
